The House of Cygnus has a threshold you are meant to remember: two-story obsidian doors threaded with gold, standing before a Great Hall carved from the memory of a cavern.
Founded by Harkin Zor, the House of Cygnus is the main Coven within the creative world of Vampyre.One. It gives that world a center of gravity: a name, a setting, and a place where characters can encounter one another.
The Great Hall
The hall was a cave before it became a low-lit club and gathering space. Pale travertine walls now carry dark obsidian lines and borders. The monumental doors add scale; the gold veins reward a closer look. Beneath the refinement, the space retains the depth and enclosure of its origin.
Those details are the foundation of the setting. They let different scenes feel connected, whether the focus is an arrival at the doors, a gathering in the hall, or a quiet exchange at the edge of the room.
What happens inside matters
A remarkable room can hold attention for a moment. Characters give a reader a reason to stay. Who enters with confidence? Who pauses before approaching? What does someone notice, and what do they pretend not to notice?
The House of Cygnus offers space for those questions. Its narrative can develop through choices, relationships, and the small changes in understanding that happen when people share a room.
Mythology with room to grow
This introduction establishes the House and its Great Hall as part of our fictional setting. Future stories can develop the people and events around them while preserving the details that make the place recognizable.
For now, imagine the doors opening. You have one moment before the room notices you. What would you do with it?
