The world beyond the threshold
Stories from the House of Cygnus
Before a world has a history, someone has to imagine its first room. For Vampyre. One, one of those rooms is the Great Hall of the House of Cygnus: a cavern transformed into a gathering place, its natural depth held within travertine, obsidian, and low light.
Stories is the doorway into that imaginative world. Here, atmosphere becomes setting, a name becomes a character, and a brief exchange can become the beginning of a larger narrative.
A world with a recognizable heart
The House of Cygnus, founded by Harkin Zor, is the main Coven in the Vampyre. One setting. Its two-story obsidian doors, veined with gold, mark a threshold. Inside, dark borders frame pale travertine walls, and the Great Hall carries both the memory of the cavern and the energy of a low-lit club.
Characters before spectacle
The strongest stories give people something to want, something to notice, and a reason to respond. An arrival, a quiet disagreement, an unexpected alliance, or an unfinished conversation can reveal more than a catalogue of supernatural powers.
Our narrative direction makes room for gothic atmosphere, social tension, curiosity, humor, and relationships that develop through what characters actually do.
Reading the world
Fictional scenes and character portrayals belong to the creative setting. Introductions and community updates explain the project around it. Keeping that distinction clear lets readers enjoy the mythology while understanding the people and work behind it.
